Electrical Supervisor

A leading New Build Client in China with a strong commitment to balancing environmental protection with the promotion of commercial activity, they work closely with various groups to promote cutting edge ship building technology.

We are seeking a skilled Marine Engineering Supervisor (Electrical) to join our Marine Engineering team based in Shanghai, China. You will be responsible for the maintenance of machinery and hull systems across a fleet of small commercial craft, shore facilities, and piers. Your role will include skilled maintenance, fault finding, installation work, and supervising technical staff/contractors.

Requirements:

Time-served Marine/Industrial Electrical Engineering Technician with an HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.

Proficient in vessel and industrial electrical distribution and control systems

Experience in electrical fitting and installation.

Advantageous skills include diesel engine electronic control systems, diesel engine and vessel mechanical systems, and marine navigation equipment installation and fault finding.

Highly motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physically agile, able to climb ladders, and work in confined spaces such as small boat engine rooms and tank spaces.

Previous China shipyard experience is a preferred
