Consortio have partnered with a global shipping giant that specialises in newbuild, conversion and retrofit services to shipyards and fleet owners around the world who are looking for an experienced FSRU newbuild site manager. Our client offers a comprehensive range of project specific technical management services, with recent projects including FSRU, RO-RO, LNGC, RO-PAX and FPSO new builds and conversions.

 

In this role as a Machine Supervisor, you will be responsible for keeping the operational side of the project on time and within budget. Ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing workers from multinational background. To be successful in this role, it is vitally important you have a very clear and precise communication and planning skills given the unpredictable nature of ship building in the current global climate.

 

Experience/Qualifications needed:

 

  • Passenger vessel new build experience as a Site Manager/Project Manager
  • The ability to travel to China
  • Chinese shipyard experience a bonus
  • A degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
  • Fluency in English – Both written and oral
