Our client is one of the world’s largest independent owners and operators of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers, providing LNG and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) services. This role is for a Marine Assurance Manager, and you will be responsible for supporting fleet operations teams in all aspects of your assigned vessels daily operations relating to marine operations. Furthermore you will treat health, safety and environmental compliance of paramount importance and act as a Company Security Officer where appointed. In addition to this you will be expected to work closely with all fleet teams as the focal point of navigation, cargo, mooring and safety. Finally, you will need to visit vessels to provide guidance, instruction, and clarity to ship staff as appropriate.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Sailing experience on Tankers and Gas Carriers as a Chief Officer or above
     
  • Have strong knowledge of maritime and HSEQ operations.
     
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be fluent in English.
     
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
