The role offers significant autonomy and requires regular travel to ports, terminals, and vessels. You will also engage directly with stakeholders including shipowners, freight forwarders, insurers, and P&I clubs.

Key Requirements:

  • Background in seagoing operations (Deck or Engine Officer), engineering, or maritime studies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cargo types, handling methods, and vessel operations.
  • Experience in marine surveying, cargo inspection, or maritime logistics is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, operational environments.
  • Flexible approach to travel, often at short notice.
  • Valid UK driving licence and eligibility for international travel and port access.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally connected team at the forefront of marine surveying and consultancy.
