Consortio have partnered with a world-renowned international Marine Consultancy that supplies a range of consultancy services to some of the biggest shipping companies and P&I clubs in the world. Our client utilizes their team of Engineers, Master Mariners and Naval Architects to provide an exhaustive range of marine consultancy and surveying services around the world.  Due to our client’s rapid growth and expansion, they are looking for a Consultant Chief Engineer to join their ever-growing team of Master Mariners, Naval Architects and Chief Engineers.
 

In this role as a Consultant Chief Engineer, you will be expected to contribute to a variety of consultancy services ranging from Marine Engineering Consultancy, Inspections and Surveys, Marine Claims and Salvage/Wreck Removal. Due to the nature of our client’s business, you will be expected to react quickly to customers around the world, using your superior industry knowledge and experience to provide a perfect service to our client’s customers. The successful candidate will be joining a company of the highest calibre and given the opportunity to learn on the job. This is the perfect role for somebody who wants to remain on the nautical front and indulge in continued field work.
 

To be successful in this position you must:
 

  • Have sailed as a Chief Engineer on several different vessel types.
     
  • Sailed with a few different engine and fuel types.
     
  • Have the right to live and work in the EU.
     
  • Be located in or willing to relocate to the London Area.
     
  • Be comfortable writing complex and technical reports.
