Company Overview: Our client, a leading player in the bunker and marine fuel trading industry, is seeking a Marine Fuel Trader to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work in a rapidly growing UK marketplace, leveraging both back-to-back and physical supply capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Execute back-to-back trading of bunkers and marine fuels (Fuel Oil, Gas Oil, Alternative Fuels) to ship owners, operators, and traders globally.Manage bunker enquiries within the European and global markets, providing transparent pricing and services.Establish and leverage relationships with end-users and suppliers to facilitate back-to-back bunker trading across tanker, dry, bulk, and commercial sectors.Promote the company’s physical locations and services.Collaborate with the Head of Trading to implement new strategies and develop markets within EMEA region.Stay informed on market news, insights, and analysis related to global ports and pricing.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in back-to-back bunker/marine fuel sales and trading within the ANY region.
  • Proven track record with a solid understanding of bunkering policies across various UK/European ports.
  • Proficiency in hedging and pricing tools for effective trading.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Established network of shipowner, bunker, and marine fuel contacts.
  • Ability to report directly to the Head of Trading in the London office.
  • Willingness to travel.
