This is a key position within the organisation, responsible for overseeing and supporting the safe, efficient and compliant operation of assigned offshore and wind farm DP vessels. The successful candidate will work closely with Masters, crews, clients and internal departments, ensuring vessels consistently meet company, flag, class and customer requirements. The role will also play an important part in maintaining the company’s safety culture, supporting inspections and audits, managing operational risks and driving continual improvement across the fleet.
Key Requirements:
- Seagoing Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a command position, ideally gained on offshore, wind farm and/or DP vessels, with a strong understanding of marine operations and the challenges associated with offshore projects.
- Regulatory & Operational Knowledge: Strong knowledge of international maritime rules, regulations, industry guidelines and best practices, alongside practical experience with navigation, cargo operations, offshore activities and project-specific requirements.
- Auditing, Risk & Investigations: Proven experience conducting internal audits, marine inspections, risk assessments and accident/incident investigations, with the ability to identify issues and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Safety, Compliance & Fleet Support: Experience supporting Masters and crews, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, health, security and environmental awareness, while ensuring vessels remain compliant with flag, class and company requirements and prepared for third-party inspections.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with vessel crews, clients and external stakeholders.
- A good command of written and spoken English is essential. The successful candidate should also be comfortable supporting training, conducting vessel visits and contributing to the continual improvement of the company’s management system.
The position is based in Limassol, Cyprus and offers the opportunity to join an established ship management business operating within a specialist and growing offshore market.
