Marine Superintendent

They are now seeking an experienced marine professional to join their team and support the continued development of their operations.
 

As Marine Superintendent, you will oversee the marine operations of a fleet of livestock vessels, ensuring that vessels operate safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures, international regulations and client requirements. The position will involve regular communication with Masters and vessel crews, conducting inspections and audits, supporting vessel operations, monitoring safety and compliance, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high marine standards.
 

The requirements for this role are:
 

• Previous experience as a Marine Superintendent
   
• Experience working with livestock vessels
   
• Previous sailing experience as a Master or Chief Officer
   
• Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS and relevant maritime regulations
   
• Experience conducting vessel inspections and audits
   
• Strong understanding of marine safety and operational procedures
   
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
   
• Fluency in English
