Our client is an internationally renowned ship management company that is responsible for the technical management of an expanding fleet.  Due to an aggressive expansion plan we can be certain that this company will increase its fleet by 50% in the next 2 years ensuring its stability in an uncertain market.  As a result of organizational change geared at positioning the company for growth they are seeking an HSEQ Superintendent to report into the fleet services team manager.
 

Working closely with the fleet manager services you will provide expert guidance on the operational, navigational, cargo/ballast handling and mooring related activities of the assigned vessels.  You will conduct detailed ship shore compatibility studies prior to calling at a new terminal, including mooring analysis using Optimoor software.  Prepare ship specific operational procedures for FSU/FSRU new business while assisting the commercial mangers with ship management specific data in the preparation of commercial bids.  Further duties will include monitoring the vessels performance and movements against that warranted in charter parties, arrange OCIMF SIRE inspections and review deck appraisals.
 

Successful candidates

  • Must have sailed as Master on Gas vessels.
     
  • Should have some shore-based experience.
     
  • May have experience in navigating in ice bound environment.
     
  • Must have right to live and work in the UK.
