The organisation is seeking a Marine Surveyor /  Expert to support its Antwerp-based operations. The successful candidate will carry out independent surveys and inspections across vessels, terminals and cargo operations, producing accurate, defensible reports for shipowners, insurers and P&I clubs. This role requires a strong operational mindset, the ability to work autonomously in the field, and a practical understanding of vessel and cargo operations.

 

The requirements for this role are:

  • Fluency in Dutch with strong written and spoken English
  • A minimum of six months’ experience as a Marine Surveyor
  • Maritime background, ideally deck or marine engineering
  • Nautical or marine engineering education, or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive assignments
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekend work
