As part of this partnership, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine cooling systems onboard vessels and within associated facilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of mechanical and refrigeration systems, contributing directly to the operational readiness and efficiency of marine assets.

This position requires a strong mechanical foundation, hands-on experience with cooling or HVAC systems, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of marine mechanical systems and demonstrate an adaptable, solution-focused approach within dynamic working environments.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience working with marine cooling, refrigeration, or HVAC systems
  • Strong technical understanding of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
  • Experience with installation, inspection, and maintenance onboard vessels or within marine facilities
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary technical team
  • Strong commitment to safe working practices and adherence to maritime standards
  • Willingness to travel or work offshore when required
