With a strong presence in Northern Europe and a reputation built on technical expertise and reliability, they are now seeking a Marine Surveyor to join their team in the Netherlands.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a seagoing professional looking to transition ashore into a surveying career. The role offers a structured pathway into marine surveying, combining practical, hands-on fieldwork with ongoing support and development. The successful candidate will assist with a range of surveys and inspections, including cargo and condition surveys, while learning to assess damage, incidents, and operational issues. Working closely with experienced surveyors, the role will involve producing technical reports, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance with relevant maritime standards. This is a varied and engaging position, offering exposure to different vessel types, ports, and operational scenarios.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Seagoing experience, ideally as a Deck or Engine Officer
- A genuine interest in transitioning into a marine surveying role
- Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good report writing and organisational abilities
- A proactive and hands-on approach to work
- Willingness to travel as required for surveys and inspections
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Junior profiles desired
