Consortio have partnered with an independent leading design house. They are very specialist and are experts in their field when it comes to Naval Architecture and challenging yacht design projects. The team is made up of Naval Architects and design professionals who are highly trained in their fields and have a strong desire to design efficient yet beautiful yachts and boats. Aswell as designing and creating brand new sailing and motorboat designs they are also highly skilled in refitting and restoration of existing vessels. Due to the company’s ongoing success within this field they are looking to expand the team and hire a new Naval Architect.

As a Naval Architect you will be designing custom yachts and sailing vessels from scratch and building something truly unique and innovative. You will be working independently on projects that involve aluminum and composites for clients. The position requires you to provide design solutions and review any proposed modifications to relevant parts of the vessels. Additionally, you will be required to liaise with Technical/Fleet Managers in the successful and efficient execution of dry docking.  

To be eligible for this role you need to:

  • Have the right to live and work in the EU.
  • Be a fully qualified Naval Architect or Designer.
  • Have some experience within the design of yachts.
  • Have experience working with composites and aluminium.
  • Have a very good work ethic.
  • Experience working with Rhino and AutoCAD.
