Committed to advancing the floating offshore wind sector, they focus on delivering innovative technology solutions for the world’s oceans. Their goal is to significantly lower the cost and risk of floating offshore wind mooring systems through the groundbreaking application of their Load Reduction Device technology.

They are looking for an Engineer to join the team. You will play a key role in supporting the company’s technology development and collaborating closely across all company functions. Your adaptability and teamwork will be essential, as you will be expected to manage a wide range of tasks, often under tight deadlines. You will work proactively with the engineering leadership team to support the development of technology and projects. It will be crucial to ensure a rigorous approach to design, maintaining high standards of integrity, quality, and precision in delivering detailed design concepts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent skills in hydrodynamic and numerical analysis.
  • Experience with Orcaflex is preferred, though experience with other hydrodynamic simulation software is beneficial.
  • Experience with floating offshore wind platforms and mooring systems, including analysis and design, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with aerodynamically coupled models, such as FAST, is a plus
  • .You will need to have excellent technical writing and presentation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Matlab, and other programming tools.
  • 0–5 years of industry experience, with a background in product research, design, and development.
  • Fluency in English, with a valid work permit or visa to work in the UK, is required.
