Consortio have partnered with an independent offshore engineering company. They are very specialist and are experts in their field when it comes to Ocean Engineering. The team is made up of Naval Architects, Engineers and Analysists who are highly trained in their fields and have a strong desire provide dynamic consultancy and project delivery resources for marine, offshore and subsea projects in renewables and oil & gas. Due to the company’s ongoing success within this field they are looking to expand the team and hire a new Naval Architect.

 

As a Naval Architect you will be part of the naval architect team with a diverse remit. Alongside supporting various consultancy projects within the growing FOW market (such as sizing/scaling studies, mooring assessments, archetype comparisons), you will also assist in our core business work. This involves delivering hydrodynamic modeling, stability and transportation assessments, and supporting the installation analysis team within complex offshore energy systems (e.g., heavy lift, SURF, floatover, mooring, cable, and pipelay installation). Additionally, you will interface with clients, suppliers, our team, and other stakeholders.

 

To be eligible for this role you need to:

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Master’s of Engineering/Science in Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering
  • Experience in Python language for pre-post processing of engineering analysesExperienced user of engineering tools; Mathcad, Inventor, AutoCAD, Maxsurf, Rhino
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
