Consortio is proud to be partnered with a specialist provider in the offshore shipping and industrial sectors, as they seek a motivated Technical/NDT Inspector to join their expanding team. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting ultrasonic wall thickness measurements, corrosion inspections, and a range of NDT techniques (UT/MT/PT/VT/ET).
- Performing visual inspections, hatch tightness testing, and providing dry dock assistance.
- Assessing vessel condition and preparing detailed inspection reports.
- Maintaining regular contact with clients and managing the administrative processing of orders.
- Supporting material inspections and testing in line with international norms, codes, and quality standards.
- Travelling globally to carry out inspections on board vessels for short- to medium-term assignments.
Requirements
- Completed technical education to at least MBO level, preferably in mechanical engineering, shipping, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to perform under time pressure and adapt to challenging environments.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Affinity with shipping and willingness to work on board vessels worldwide.
- NDT Level II certification is advantageous but not required.
- Leadership potential, with opportunities to progress into a managerial role.
