Our client is a large international shipping business who have ships such as LNG, chemical and bulk. Due to recent expansion, they are on the lookout for a new Operations Coordinator for their Tanker division. The role is both operational and supervisory and you will be involved with the day-to-day Methanol and Product Tanker operational management. As a result, you will be required to visit ports, vessels, and customers where appropriate. Furthermore, you will be expected to the collaborate with the Global Operations Manager and relevant charter parties to ensure smooth cargo operation. In addition to this, you will monitor and check letters of indemnities, vessel positions and voyage instructions and instruct vessels’ Masters despatching voyage orders.
 

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:~
 

  • 2+ years’ experience in an operation role with Tankers.
     
  • Have experience with both bills of lasing and carriage of goods.
     
  • Sailing experience on Tankers is not necessary but will be seen as an advantage.
     
  • Have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English – both written and verbal
