Our client is a large international shipping business who have ships such as LNG, chemical and bulk. Due to recent expansion, they are on the lookout for an Operations Superintendent for their Tanker division. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient navigation of your assigned vessels. In addition to this you will be expected to ensure the highest level of efficiency in relation to mooring, cargo and ballast operations for all assigned vessels. Furthermore, you will need to prepare responses for the commercial team and charterers to ensure vessels are compatible for the ports and terminals planned. Finally, you will have direct responsibility for the implementation of the company’s safety management systems and be expected to treat safety in the highest regard.
 

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Previously sailed as a Chief Officer or above on Chemical Tankers.
     
  • Previous experience in an operations role will be seen as an advantage.
     
  • Be a good team player and have good time management skills.
     
  • Have fluency in English – both written and verbal.
     
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
