In addition to this, they provide a range of value-added services including, hub agency, custom clearance, and short sea chartering. They are comprised of highly skilled staff across all their different departments that help take the company to new heights. Finally, they have a clear set of values and have a strong sense of tradition within the shipping industry.
 

Due to recent expansion, they are currently on the lookout for a Port Agent, and you will be responsible for arranging all relevant port and husbandry services and tending to the requirements of the Master and crew making sure all appropriate legislations and regulations are observed. You will also be expected to book vessels in and out of port and arrange the pilot and tugboat services. Furthermore, you will need to keep all relevant parties up to date and advise customers of the ship’s arrival and report the cargo on board. Finally, you will act on any Health and Safety issues reported relating to urgency and risk presented.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Have Port Agency Experience.
     
  • Have Cruise Experience (preferred).
     
  • Be Fluent in English.
     
  • Have a Valid UK Driving License.
