As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering yacht refit and technical service projects from initiation through to final handover. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure that all works meet the highest standards of technical quality, craftsmanship, and safety. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong marine engineering knowledge, proven experience in yacht or vessel refits, and the ability to lead projects in a fast-paced and bespoke environment.
The requirements for this role are:
- Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in project management within yacht refit, shipyard operations, marine engineering, or offshore technical projects
- Qualified in Marine Engineering (Mechanical Engineering).
- Demonstrable experience managing complex refit or maintenance projects, including mechanical, electrical, interior, structural, and systems upgrades
- Strong technical understanding of marine systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and automation systems
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, cost control, scheduling, risk assessments, and resource planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with captains, owners, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Strong organisational abilities with a methodical approach to project documentation, reporting, and change control
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian or French is advantageous
- Willingness to travel internationally in accordance with project requirements
