They are looking to bring on someone with a Naval Architecture background that has a drive and passion for the Offshore and Renewable sector. The role requires you to support the company with ongoing work with windfarm developers, technical/management companies and solution providers. You will be assisting the company in business development through the formation of new service lines while also maintaining existing client relationships. You will also be expected to write technical reports, draft necessary project literature and any relevant technical and commercial proposals for clients. The role also gives you the opportunity to attend offshore to conduct any engineering analysis necessary for the project at hand. This role will involve both commercial and technical responsibilities which provides the ideal candidate exposure to a multifaceted business. Not only does the company provide the successful candidate a diverse level of experience but also the opportunity to influence the future trajectory of the company.
To be eligible for this role you need to:
- Have a Naval Architecture degree or Masters.
- Have worked in a technical role in Naval Architecture for at least 1 year. Consultancy experience would be useful but not essential.
- Be very passionate about wind energy and working in the offshore space. Passion is likely the largest factor in getting the job!
