The successful candidate will lead technical projects using established project management methodologies for development initiatives. You will coordinate the efforts of the engineering and operations teams, ensuring that design processes are rigorous and that high-quality deliverables are produced in accordance with project timelines. You will be responsible for supervising the design and certification of components, ensuring they meet the required codes and standards (e.g., DNV). In addition, you will analyse R&D test data and manage engineering resources to ensure the successful execution of projects.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Engineering.
  • You should possess strong presentation, report writing, and analytical skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to interpret test data and apply those insights to improve designs is essential.
  • You should also have commercial awareness and experience managing budgets.
  • A valid UK work permit or visa is required for this role, along with a flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • At least five years of industry experience, with a minimum of three years spent in project management.
  • PMP certification or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • Experience in product research, design, and development, particularly in mechanical, structural, or hydrodynamic engineering, will be an asset.
