A leading entity in the maritime and shipping industry is seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee their PCTC/Car Carrier fleet vessels. In this role, the Technical Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the assigned PCTC/Car Carrier fleet vessels. This individual will lead and engage senior ship staff, working collaboratively with various departments to set performance goals, provide coaching, oversee technical and operational support, monitor vessel performance, manage budgets, and plan dry-dockings and major repairs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ sailing experience as Chief Engineer on PCTC/Container/Bulk Carrier with 2 years’ experience as Superintendent; OR a postgraduate Degree (MEng or MSc) in Naval Architecture/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 5 years’ Superintendent experience.
- Effective communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel globally without restriction.
