Our client is a German shipping company who have seen great success through their extensive time in the market. Over the course of their life span they have built up a strong presence in Lubeck. Even though the market has been a tough one over the course of the last 5 years they have still maintained a strong profit and look likely to continue this trend.
The role is for a Technical Superintendent who will be responsible for all technical aspects of the MPP vessels/Contianer/Coastal Bulkers under their command. You will ensure all vessels are compliant with the most recent maritime legislation. In this role you will also oversee the dry docking process of the vessels you are responsible for. A key responsibility will also be travelling to inspect your vessels whilst they are on a voyage.
To be suitable for this role you will be:
-Qualified with at least a COC2/COC1
-Experienced MPP - Container- Bulk - GC
-1-2 years experience onshore working as a Technical Superintendent.
-An excellent communicator.
-Right to live and work in the EU
