Technical Superintendent

Consortio is proud to be partnering with a leading shipowner to recruit a Technical Superintendent for their Monaco office. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a permanent, shore-based position managing a fleet of geared supramax bulk carriers, with full support to relocate and build your long-term future in one of Europe’s most sought-after maritime locations.

Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager, you’ll take ownership of four bulk vessels and be responsible for their safe, compliant, and cost-effective technical performance. This includes planning maintenance, overseeing dry dockings, managing budgets, and providing hands-on support to crews onboard—who are primarily Eastern European and Filipino. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues in a professional and collaborative environment that values initiative and leadership.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• Either: TSI experience with a 2nd Engineer background in bulk, or sailing currently as a Chief Engineer on geared supramax bulkers
• Right to live and work in the EU
• Willingness to relocate (company based in Monaco; most staff live in France)
• Fluent English speaker
• Strong leadership and communication skills
