Our client is a well-established international ship management company with a strong presence across the global maritime industry, providing comprehensive technical and operational management services to a diverse fleet of vessels. With offices and operations across key shipping hubs, they have built a strong reputation for maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and operational performance.
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their team in Hong Kong, taking responsibility for the technical management and day-to-day performance of a fleet of PCTC vessels. The successful candidate will work closely with vessels, crews, owners and internal stakeholders to ensure the fleet is maintained to a high standard, while overseeing maintenance programmes, repairs, dry-docking projects, inspections and compliance requirements.
The requirements for this role are:
- Previous sailing experience as a Chief Engineer onboard RORO or PCTC vessels
- Proven shore-based experience working as a Technical Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, repairs and technical operations, including hands-on experience managing dry-docking projects
- Experience with dual-fuel engines would be highly advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with vessel crews, owners and other stakeholders
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
