Our client is a well-established international tanker ownership company with a reputation for operational excellence and high safety standards. Operating a modern fleet of product and chemical tankers, they are strategically positioned in key global shipping hubs. Following continued fleet growth, our client is looking to appoint a Technical Superintendent to join their team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for the full technical management of assigned vessels. This includes oversight of maintenance, repairs, dry dock planning, budget control, and compliance with class and international regulations. You will work closely with onboard crews and internal departments to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective vessel operations.
The requirements for the position are:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent, preferably with tanker vessels.
- Prior sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on tankers is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of marine engineering systems, PMS, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
- Must hold a valid Singapore Employment Pass (EP).
