They are now looking for a Technical Superintendent to join their shore-based team and take responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant management of Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs). This role will see you working closely with onboard staff and internal stakeholders to ensure vessels operate at the highest standards while maintaining performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
The requirements for this role are:
- Sailing experience as Chief Engineer on PCTC vessels
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working ashore as a Technical Superintendent managing similar vessel types
- Strong technical knowledge of shipboard systems, maintenance, and repair planning
- Familiarity with international regulations, classification, and industry best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
