We work in high end headhunting in some markets through to temp placements in others, so have a desk and market suitable for all personality types. The overarching common theme though is we work in markets that are thriving and the markets are desperate for talented people.
Currently Consortio is looking to expand it’s Marine & Renewables team. The Marine & Renewables team is one of our most developed teams with tons of exciting existing business, with loads of new business opportunities presenting itself daily. We have worked in the marine space for many years but more recently shifted focus to draw in the expanding renewables market. We are a core brand in the market and clients know us very well. We have a lot of exclusive clients and work on very interesting global high end perm recruitment roles. You will work international roles with large engineering business’s seeking to develop, build and maintain large marine and renewable assets. Fees in this space are roughly £10,000 a placement and we work with candidates earning anything from 40k to 100k a year. This is a great desk for someone with a passion for high level engineering projects or is seeking to help support the renewables push globally. We have plenty of warm business and existing clients to pass over to the successful person taking on this desk.
To be suitable for this role as a trainee you will have zero recruitment experience however hold lots of these personal attributes:
- Positive and outward going person.
- Highly inquisitive (naturally nosy people tend to thrive best).
- Strong interest in people and basic psychology.
- Polished and articulate speaker.
- Target focused.Confident and assertive.
- Able to deal with rejection (you will be making sales calls and can’t always expect a positive outcome).

Our business pays basic salaries between £19,000 and £35,000 depending on rank and level of experience. Everyone earns commission on top of this which means the lowest earners in the business take home around £26,000 a year and our highest earners are taking more than £100k home a year. It all depends on personal sales performance.
