Consortio is working with an international ship owner. They have a fleet of owned and managed LNG vessels operating around the world. Our client provides a range of services from technical management to through to bunkering. A major reason why they have remained at the forefront of developments in the gas sector is securing and maintaining strategic relationships with ship owners. You can expect to join an ambitious and friendly team in their European office.

 

This role is for a Vessel Manager who will primarily look after the technical management of an 3 LNG vessels. You will be responsible for full budget management factoring in dry dock/repair costs. Furthermore, you will oversee in conjunction with the Fleet Manager all dry dock and repair work. As these are relatively new vessels that have joined the fleet you will play a vital role in mentoring and supporting crew members on board this vessel. Alongside these tasks you will also help across the fleet as and when capacity allows you too.

 

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria.

 

  • COC2 Engine or above (Preferably Motor).
     
  • LNG seafaring experience.
     
  • Ideally you will have shore-based experience.
     
  • Basic knowledge of bunkering process on gas vessels.
     
  • UK residency and working rights are essential.
