Due to current expansion of their fleet they have a need to hire extremely for a set of skills they don’t have inside their business at present.
Our client is an international ship management company that provides a number of services for the maritime industry. With offices located in different countries they are truly a global force that has a reputation for reliability, quality and efficiency with a fleet of dry & wet vessels in their management.
This role participates in one of the first lines of safety. You will be in and out of the office all day so this role won’t see you heavily behind a desk instead you will be vetting nearly 50% of the day. It’s important to always be looking at how to reduce the risks to the site and personal so this role is one for someone with a genuine passion for excellent standards.
To be suitable you will:
Hold a class one Masters ticket
Have sailed on board a range of vessels but must have at least 12 months’ sea time in a senior rank on tankers
You must also have at least 16 months’ worth of time sailing specifically on Dry Cargo / Wet Vessels
You will be based in Hong Kong (SAR)
Good team player
Strong communicator in English
