The company is seeking an experienced Chartering Manager to lead commercial activities across the Pacific and Indian Ocean trades. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximising fleet employment above market levels, maintaining and developing key customer relationships, expanding the company’s network in strategic regions, and collaborating closely with chartering and operations teams across the organisation. The position requires strong dry bulk market knowledge, a well-established commercial network, and the ability to operate independently while contributing to a global team.
 

The requirements for this role are,

• Minimum five years’ experience in the dry bulk shipping industry
   
• Experience in maintaining and developing a large customer network in bulk shipping, preferably with exposure to Pacific and Indian Ocean trade
   
• Professional communication skills in English
   
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent organisational and negotiation skills
   
• Ability to work independently while contributing actively as part of a global team
   
• Experience liaising directly with shipowners and shipbrokers
   
• Familiarity with Sedna, Veson and Power BI considered an advantage
