We are now seeking a Group Director of Manning Agencies to join this esteemed organisation. This is a highly strategic role, central to shaping the future of the company’s global crewing and manning operations. The position carries significant responsibility for overseeing the performance and development of manning agencies worldwide, ensuring the efficient recruitment, welfare, and retention of seafarers. As the bridge between senior leadership and global manning operations, the Group Director will play a crucial role in aligning international talent management with the company’s long-term vision, while upholding the highest levels of compliance with maritime regulations.

 

Requirements for the role:

  • A minimum of 15 years’ proven experience within crewing or manning, with a track record of delivering results on a global scale.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership position within a large shipmanagement organisation, demonstrating the ability to lead diverse, multinational teams.
  • Strong knowledge of global sourcing areas, with the ability to identify opportunities and navigate the complexities of international recruitment markets.
  • Established and trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the maritime industry, from regulatory bodies to client partners.
  • Exceptional strategic, financial, and operational acumen, with the resilience and vision to drive continuous improvement in manning operations.
