As Technical Fleet Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the technical department and ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of the company's wet fleet. Working closely with senior management, you will oversee the implementation and continual improvement of the company's management system, support the development of technical personnel, and promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence. This position requires a confident leader capable of driving performance across the fleet while ensuring vessels remain fully compliant with international regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Technical Superintendent or in a senior technical management position within the shipping industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of tanker or wet fleet vessel operations, alongside a thorough understanding of international maritime regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage fleet performance, implement management systems, and promote continuous improvement across technical operations.
- Fluent English with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and support strategic decision-making within a fast-paced ship management environment.
