Consortio is proud to partner with a leading Dutch Salvage & Towage company, renowned for its expertise and excellence in maritime operations. Together, we are committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency across global maritime projects. As part of this partnership, we are seeking a dedicated Crewing Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in managing the crewing operations for their fleet.

 

As a Crewing Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vessels are fully manned on time while adhering to international maritime laws and minimum Safe Manning requirements. Acting as the key liaison between the crew and the company, you will oversee crew changes, handle scheduling, and coordinate with recruitment agencies and HR to secure the right personnel. In addition, you will support the travel logistics for crew members, including visas, flights, and transportation, to ensure seamless transitions. This role demands a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, making it a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity.

 

Key Points:

  • A completed maritime education, with preferably a few years of onboard experience.
  • Practical, flexible, and problem-solving mindset with excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a positive and motivating attitude.
  • Availability of at least 32 hours per week.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Dutch and English.
