Consortio has partnered with a respected dry-cargo shipbroking organisation recognised for its strong presence across the Atlantic and wider global markets. With established offices in major maritime hubs, the business is known for delivering high-quality commercial support and chartering expertise across the Super Ultra, Handy and Panamax segments. As part of ongoing growth, the organisation is now seeking to appoint a Charterer to join its London team in a hybrid capacity.

This role plays a key part in strengthening the company’s commercial performance, focusing on securing and fixing regular accounts while contributing to the expansion of activity across key vessel sizes and trade routes. The successful candidate will engage in hands-on chartering, statement handling, and market negotiation, working closely with international teams to support the delivery of reliable, commercially competitive fixtures. This opportunity offers a platform to build on existing experience while working in an environment that values strong commercial instincts, reliable relationships, and proactive market engagement.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Proven background in fixing regular accounts within the dry-cargo market.

  • Strong experience handling Super Ultra and Panamax statements.

  • Solid Handy experience with a demonstrable background in the Atlantic market.

  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a chartering role.

  • Possession of the unrestricted right to work in the United Kingdom.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a highly active dry-cargo desk while working within a collaborative and commercially driven environment. With hybrid working and exposure to international markets, this role provides a strong platform for long-term growth within a respected shipbroking operation. If you believe you meet the requirements, please submit your CV.
