A leading specialist in marine turbocharger servicing is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its growing UK team. This opportunity is ideal for Marine Engineers looking to transition ashore without losing the variety and travel that comes with a seagoing career. The role offers an intriguing balance of shore-based work alongside regular travel across Europe.

The successful candidate will carry out the servicing, repair and overhaul of marine exhaust gas turbochargers onboard vessels and at land-based power plants. Working independently, you will provide high-quality engineering support, helping customers minimise downtime while working on a wide variety of projects.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' marine engineering experience.
  • At least two years' hands-on experience working on ABB/Accelleron, MAN or MET turbochargers.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Europe and occasionally further afield.
  • Experience with new-generation turbochargers would be advantageous.
  • Ability to travel around Europe without a Schengen visa.

The successful candidate will join a respected international business offering excellent training, career progression, a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to build a long-term shore-based career without giving up international travel.

If you're ready to take the next step ashore while continuing to work across Europe, apply today or reach out to Chloe directly.
