Fleet Manager

Consortio is proud to partner with a ship management company currently seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join its senior leadership team in Cyprus. This is a rare opportunity for a senior maritime professional to oversee a mixed tanker fleet within a highly regarded operational environment. The company manages a substantial global fleet and is continuing to expand its tanker management operations globally.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the management and performance of 25 tankers, managing a team of shore-based technical professionals. This is a highly client-facing position requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to work closely with vessel owners, crews, and shore-based teams. The role will involve regular travel throughout the year to attend vessel visits, audits, and client meetings internationally.

Requirements

• Previous sailing experience as a Chief Engineer onboard tanker or gas vessels
• Shore-based experience as a Fleet Manager or Technical Manager
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities
• Experience overseeing technical and operational vessel performance
• Professional communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
• Fluent English communication skills are essential
• Greek language skills would be advantageous but are not essential
• Candidates already based in Cyprus will be viewed favourably
• EU candidates and applicants requiring relocation support will also be considered
