Consortio is proud to partner with a leading global shipmanagement company renowned for delivering safe, efficient, and compliant operations across a modern tanker fleet. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to excellence in maritime standards, environmental stewardship, and crew welfare. Together, we are seeking a highly experienced Marine Superintendent (Wet Fleet) to join a dynamic shore-based team supporting LPG, LNG, and oil tanker operations worldwide. The company offers a professional environment, long-term career development, and the opportunity to influence best practices across an international fleet.
The Marine Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring vessels operate to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Acting as the key link between shore management and shipboard teams, the successful candidate will support Masters and crews, oversee navigational and cargo operation standards, conduct marine visits and audits, and ensure readiness for inspections at all times. This position is vital to maintaining customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement, and upholding the company’s management system across assigned vessels. The role also contributes to incident investigations, training initiatives, and the promotion of a strong safety and environmental culture throughout the fleet.
Requirements:
- Master Mariner (or equivalent command experience) with a minimum of two years in command on tankers (LPG/LNG/Oil).
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, industry guidelines, navigational practices, and tanker cargo operations.
- Proven experience in marine inspections, internal auditing, incident investigation, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to support and mentor Masters and senior officers, including participation in interviews and training needs identification.
- Excellent communication skills, strong command of English, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary shore team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior seafarer or existing superintendent to transition into or further develop a strategic shore-based career with a respected shipmanagement organization.
