As Head of Business Development, you will drive business development activity across global markets, identifying and securing new opportunities while expanding and strengthening relationships with existing customers. You will be responsible for delivering against agreed commercial targets, working in line with the company’s overall strategy and business objectives as defined by senior management. This is a senior role requiring strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, international environment.
The requirements for this role are:
- Extensive maritime and/or ship management experience
- A proven background in business development, marketing, and sales
- A university degree in a related field
- Experience working in an international, multi-cultural environment
- A high level of commitment with a strong drive to deliver results under pressure
- A high sense of initiative, professionalism, and responsibility
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent written and spoken English
