HVAC Superintendent

Our client is a successful cruise service company that provides technical management services and consultancy for cruise vessels. They provide services in a variety of marine sectors aiding in technical management, hospitality services and consultancy. Due to continuous success within the company over the previous years there is need for expansion within the company and they are currently hiring a HVAC Superintendent.

As HVAC Superintendent you will be responsible for managing the HVAC and refrigeration systems on assigned cruise ships. You will be expected to develop and implement necessary maintenance plans and relevant strategy requirements. Maintain relationships with third party supplier, service providers and classification societies. Additionally you will prepare and provide relevant reports on system maintenance, performance, and budget compliance.

To be eligible for this role you need to:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or  related field.
• Flexibility to travel and spend time onboard assigned vessels.
• Extensive experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems in the maritime industry.
• Understanding of relevant regulations and standards. (SOLAS and class rules)
