As part of this collaboration, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Key Account Manager to join the Crewing Department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key aspects of crew management for passenger and cruise vessels, including budgeting, cost control, account review, and client reporting. Your ability to manage client expectations while ensuring operational efficiency will be essential. Budget Preparation: Develop and manage detailed budgets for crewing operations, working closely with other teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Cost Control: Monitor and control operational expenses (OPEX) associated with crew management, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising service quality. Client Reporting: Prepare comprehensive and accurate reports for clients regarding budgetary performance and cost analysis.Collaboration & Coordination: Work effectively with internal departments (Crewing Operations, Crew Accounts) and external partners to streamline processes and improve cost-efficiency.Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure adherence to the company’s management system, identify areas for process improvements, and promote best practices in budgeting and financial management.

 

Requirements for the Role:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree is a plus.Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, or accounting within the maritime or crewing industry, specifically with passenger or cruise vessels.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and foster a collaborative work environment.Analytical Expertise: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner to clients and stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications.Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
