Laboratory Manager

Consortio is working with a, well-established leader in the inspection and laboratory testing industry, with a strong operational presence across the ARA region. Supporting high-volume activities in major European ports, they specialize in quality assurance services across the energy, petrochemical, and marine fuel sectors. With a commitment to precision, reliability, and technical excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to join their growing team.

This position offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of remote laboratory operations while supporting teams on the ground in Antwerp and Rotterdam. The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day lab functions, managing equipment and resources, maintaining quality control systems, and driving research and development initiatives. The role requires close coordination with field operations and internal stakeholders to ensure testing integrity and regulatory compliance at all times.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
• Proven experience managing laboratory operations and equipment
• Strong background in quality control and analytical testing
• Experience with research and development (R&D) projects
• Excellent organizational and leadership skillsHigh attention to detail and a process-driven mindset
• The ability to work independently and manage remote work
