As part of this partnership, we are seeking a qualified Cooling Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine cooling systems onboard vessels and within associated facilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of mechanical and refrigeration systems, contributing directly to the operational readiness and efficiency of marine assets.

This position requires a strong mechanical background, hands-on experience with cooling or HVAC systems, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of marine mechanical systems and demonstrate an adaptable, solution-oriented approach to working in dynamic environments.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working with marine cooling, refrigeration, or HVAC systems.
  • Strong technical understanding of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
  • Experience performing installation, inspection, and maintenance onboard vessels or in marine facilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary technical team.
  • Commitment to safe working practices and adherence to maritime standards.
  • Willingness to travel or work offshore as required.
