Our client is a leading shipping industry partner offering global shipping agency services and hub solutions to an array of clients and ports all over the world. Acting as the one stop solution for charterers, ship managers and ship owners/operators they have an immense global presence. The challenges that the shipping industry and ports around the globe have faced over the past 3 years has caused a lot of damage and resulted in a number of ship agencies closing down. However, despite these challenges, our client is constantly reaching new heights and is now looking to expand into different corners of the world.


The role is for a skilled Marine Operator to join their team and ensure that all commercial and logistical activities in the ports are managed in a control manner. You will be responsible for the coordination between customer, shipping companies and other related parties. In addition to this you will need to be a strong client orientated person who is able to work in a fast paced environment and be comfortable in meeting strict deadlines. Furthermore, you will need to have strong organisational skills and possess a forward thinking and positive attitude.


In order to be considered for this role you must have the following:

 

  • 5+ years of experience as a boarding clerk or marine operator.
     
  • Fluent in Dutch – both verbal and in writing.
     
  • Fluent in English – both verbal and in writing.
     
  • A driving license.
