Marine Superintendent

Consortio have partnered with a world-renowned ship management company that operates from all major shipping hubs across the globe. With a fleet spanning both wet and dry sectors, the business has recently expanded by securing the full management of LNG carriers trading in Europe. To strengthen their onshore team and support this exciting growth, our client is now looking for a Marine Superintendent to be based in their Limassol office.

In this role, you will take on a key position ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the LNG fleet. You will oversee regulatory compliance, drive best practices in safety and performance, and provide guidance on day-to-day operational issues. A crucial part of your responsibilities will be preparing for and coordinating vetting inspections, as well as liaising with industry bodies to maintain the highest operational standards.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• Have sailed as a Master Mariner with at least 24 months actual sea time on LNG carriers
• Previous experience as a Marine Superintendent will be considered an advantage
• Possess strong knowledge of international legislation and industry frameworks (SIGTTO, OCIMF, SIRE etc.)
• Be fluent in English with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Be open to relocating to Cyprus and working on-site
• Hold the legal right to live and work in the EU
