With a robust infrastructure comprising over 60 interconnected simulators for bridge, engine, and cargo operations, they offer cutting-edge training solutions. The success of the company is underpinned by a dedicated team of skilled trainers, assessors, mathematical and visual database modelers, software developers, and instructional designers. They are currently seeking a Hydrodynamic Mathematical Modeller to join their team.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in marine object modelling, coupled with a strong grasp of hydrodynamics and mathematical principles. The role entails collaborating closely with navigation teams to conduct ship testing, both on sea trials and simulators such as Kongsberg and Wartsila. Responsibilities include mathematical and hydrodynamic modelling of ships and objects, assisting in simulator development, contributing to applied research, and collaborating with other mathematical and visual database modelers.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in ship hydrodynamics mathematical modelling.
- Proficiency in advanced mathematics and logical problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manipulate 3D models using Blender or 3ds Max.
- Expertise in hydrodynamics, navel architecture and computer science.
- Results-driven mindset.
- EU residency or work eligibility.
- Fluent English communication skills.
