Consortio have partnered with a globally known ship and yacht building company based in the Netherlands. This company specializes in custom building the most exclusive super yachts in the world. They are responsible for the design, engineering, the research and development of their products. Due to their global success they are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team.

As a Mechanical project engineer you will coordinate and supervise the mechanical engineers within your team as well as ensuring clear communication. Day to day you will be furnishing the technical rooms of super yachts and designing the HVAC systems onboard. You will get the chance to turn customers wishes into working drawings whilst sharing your knowledge and experience with the team.

To be eligible for this role you need to have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience working as a mechanical engineer in a ship or yacht building company.
  • Be able to work independently and also within a team, guiding and coaching others.
  • Excellent command of the English and Dutch language.
  • Knowledge of drawing software’s for 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
