Nautical Instructor

A prominent maritime training center based in the Netherlands is looking for a Nautical Instructor to join their expanding team. In this position, you will provide deckside training to seafarers, leveraging your technical expertise to teach subjects like Ship Stability, Ship Handling, Voyage Planning, Podded Propulsion, and Navigation. You will also have the opportunity to design new courses that reflect your specific skills and interests. While there may be occasional requirements to visit vessels, the role is primarily onshore.

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Experience as a 1st Officer or higher in seafaring on large Cruise Ships.
• Proficiency in operating vessels with both conventional and podded propulsion systems.
• Recent experience in the Cruise industry.
• Teaching/Instructor experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
