Our client is a leading provider of turnkey solutions in the maritime industry, recognised for delivering complex projects with precision and innovation. With a strong reputation for excellence, they partner with shipowners and operators worldwide to deliver value through engineering expertise, operational reliability, and a culture built on trust and collaboration.
They are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their operations team. In this role, you will oversee large-scale, end-to-end maritime projects, from engineering and Class approval through to procurement, logistics, crew mobilization, and commissioning. Acting as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on project management, this position offers the chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of international shipbuilding and retrofit projects.
The requirements for this role are:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the shipbuilding or marine industry.
- At least 3 years’ experience managing international projects, preferably in shipbuilding or design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proven track record in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and reporting.
